What We Do
Day visitors receive a home-cooked two-course lunch, access to a wide range of other essential services such as specialist bathing, chiropody and therapeutic exercise, as well as activities, including art classes, music, outings and special events. Most importantly, our visitors enjoy the companionship of others.
Lunch to your door
If you’d like a hot meal delivered to your home, Heritage House lunches are nutritious and freshly cooked daily using locally sourced ingredients – and only cost £7 per meal! A friendly volunteer driver will deliver your lunch direct to your door.
Situated completely on the ground floor, our building ensures accessibility by providing easy disabled and wheelchair access.
As well as medical facilities, we are also able to offer specialist bathing, chiropody, hair care, and therapeutic exercise.
Our kitchen is professional but homely, capable of producing large quantities of home-cooked meals for our day visitors and those at home, as well as catering for events at the House.
Our bright and airy social and dining spaces provide a light and pleasant atmosphere for our guests to spend the day relaxing and socialising in the company of others.
The three Heritage House minibuses are professionally equipped to ferry our guests safely and securely to and from the House by our trained and experienced volunteers.
Nature is at the heart of Heritage House through our large garden and situation in the countryside. Abundant greenery and a well-equipped greenhouse accompany dynamic views across the Holkham Estate.
Outings, such as to Holkham Hall gardens, are also a regular fixture.
The House comes together to celebrate national and local occasions and enjoy music and entertainment.
